A festival in historic alleyways, a sensational restoration, tourists looking for the best selfie spot, a long-standing relationship with a building: the old town is full of stories! Do you live or work in an old town or do you often spend time in an old town? What inspires, preoccupies or annoys you? We want to know! 

In the exhibition «Kosmos Altstadt: Unterwegs in der Sonderzone» (starting in spring 2025), the Heimatschutzzentrum in the Villa Patumbah in Zurich shows how Swiss old towns deal with a wide variety of challenges. Vacant buildings, densification, climate change, tourism, mobility or social cohesion.  The topics are manifold, which is why we are interested in meeting people who can tell us something about them. Share your story, initiative, memory, project or even a controversy. From the submitted contributions, 20 to 25 will be selected to be portrayed in the exhibition.

You will receive:

• A guided tour of the Villa Patumbah
• Reimbursement of your travel expenses and a small allowance for expenses
