On the trail of concrete beauties: Along the Limmat

Concrete buildings divide opinions. For many, buildings made of exposed concrete are true
blunders. Karin Bürki, head of HEARTBRUT, has a soft spot for these structures. On the tour along the Limmat from the Swiss National Museum to the Swissmill Tower, she points out groundbreaking “concrete beauties” from 1898 to the present.
